We are a non-profit community group, based in South East Northumberland. We also have branches in Berwick and Hexham, which enable us to cover all of the North East, Cumbria and Scottish Borders.
We offer training, support, advice, bespoke activites, youth group, outdoor learning, parties, trips and much more, to families who have children with addtional needs and disabilities.
Our mission is to empower children, parents, carers and families by sharing experience, knowledge and understanding, helping them find their voice, while spreading awareness

We are pleased to announce that we are now an accredited training provider with CPD accreditation group.
Creating an outdoor safe space, which encourages sensory, visual and therapeutic stimulation. Aimed at children 8 and over, sessions will be adapted to meet the needs of each child.
Calmer Adventurers teaches children valuable life skills, increases confidence and self-esteem in a claming environment. Regular outdoor play helps children to improve body awaereness, otor skills and balance.
Calmer Adventurers promote independence and helps with social skills, wong in a team, while having fun.
